This cabin in White Bluff sits under a lot of trees. That shade is great in July, but it is hard on a shingle roof. Leaves and moisture sit on the shingles, and over the years the roof had worn out.
The before

The owners wanted something that would last and would not need constant attention under all that tree cover. Standing seam metal was the right fit: it sheds leaves and rain, and with hidden fasteners there are fewer places for water to get in.
The work

The crew tore off the old shingles, prepped the deck and installed matte black Ag panels. We also built a new covered porch roof so the front of the cabin finally had a real place to sit.
